joonas vimpari (b.1995) is a finnish artist/illustrator currently based in espoo, finland. their works aesthetically stand at the midpoint between western and east asian illustration art style. artwork themes are often explored through the lens of femininity though are heavily driven by the bittersweet emotions we all keep inside us.

besides working with the fine art illustrations vimpari has graduated from metropolia university of applied sciences as a cultural producer in 2023. they’ve also worked with multiple other media formats such as videography, photography and music.
